Christie’s Offers Bacon Triptych for $49 Million U.K. Art Auction Record

Jan. 15 (Bloomberg) -- A Francis Bacon painting is estimated to fetch at least 25 million pounds ($49 million) in a Feb. 6 sale, the most expensive artwork ever offered at a London auction, Christie's International said.
